im a bit upset that over the past 3 days i was in Singapore, i was not able to focus on photography, taking photos of amazing urbanscape of Singapore.

maybe im gonna have a visit to that place once again one day.

IN A TUNNEL AND A SHORT REVIEW

these are among the last photos taken using my previously owned Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 as now i am loving prime lenses more. but before that, i am about to write a very short review about that particular lens;

It is fairly sharp for a zoom lens.
It is also fast.
However, the focusing is a little bit tricky.
It is light, therefore it is suitable as a walk-around lens.
It is a very good replacement for your kit lens.

wah, bukan main panjang gik title. so this is going to be a very short post because i have to study, i have to complete some of my event stuffs, hadoi, so many things so little time. i’ve just finished creating a website for CSR SIFE this week so obviously i have a lot of bugs to catch and i don’t really have time to waste my time playing Counter Strike or Angry Birds OR Super KO King.

i would like to bid welcome to the new addition to my photography gear which is Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM. I have to say it is a great lens. Enough said.

It was her convocation ceremony for he postgraduate academic year in UNISEL Shah Alam. I came down to Selangor to take some photos of my mum before and after the ceremony to commemorate the merriments.

Yeap, Shah Alam is so jaoh from Kuala Lumpur. I just knew that. And one more thing that i just knew that it is so quiet ins Shah Alam. No kidding. No offence ya.

VISIT TO MAKCIK ROHANI’S HOUSE

Me and the CSRians went to Bota to visit this makcik rohani and her mother who are involved in a small business selling kerepek pisang. so we went there to see the progress and help them a bit and introduced to them some new recipe to evolve their business.

We will continue this visit until the end of project.

Alhamdulillah! Dapat juak upload gambar cdak kecik tok ke Flickr.

With UTP’s internet connection, sometimes it is insanely and entirely impossible to upload photos to Flickr. Sad. I know, it is a university which particularly bears Petronas name on it and many people expect it to have an advanced Internet connection. Pathetic kan?

It’s okay.

Just have a look at this beautiful energetic young boys. I really really miss them. And i really really really miss Miss Sobrina too.

Bah.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT US

i woke a lil bit late than usual, around 10am, then 20 minutes later i found myself sitting on the chair, facing a lit screen, clueless what to do next, then suddenly i had a fresh idea to write at LEAST something on this blog, *which you are reading right now*, and have not had anything for breakfast but i don’t really give a dem so in the next 2 minutes, you will be viewing some photos of this kid who I really long of his affection and his hug.

Well for starter, this Ultraman action figure belongs to Gibrail, and i bought it for him a week ago.

then these are photos of Tepul. something fascinating about this kid is he loves to smile. he is so generous with his hugs, very adorable, and very very very cheerful.

and btw, these photos were taken using Canon AE-1, 50mm f/1.4 without no help from the exposure meter which is included in the camera because I DON’T KNOW. so what i did is i took my 1000D and it measures the exposure for me. so no wonder it’s a little bit off. so ignore the technical stuffs, just enjoy the photos.

the photos below is proably my most favorite photo of all! this particular photo truly shows his nature, the cheerful one.

I am sharing a bunch of photos using expired Kodak Ultramax 400. It is a very good type of film actualy, giving a very vivid image, and cool vintage-y tones here and there.

So for now i’ve got 3 photos from that particualar roll. Will upload some more later if i have time.

I am saving the best for later.

Let’s reminisce.

Cameras are not only for taking pictures. The idea of photography has a greater impact on one’s emotion than the idea of having a personal diary. True that. More than often words fail to fully describe the event itself, whereby a simple meaningful photo would usually succeed.

I’ve just uploaded some photos of a photography outing in Miri, Luak Esplanade during a trip to Miri with my friends so click here , here and as well this photo of ChotTouch taken in Pustaka Miri. I have kept the photos for too long and i think the photos deserved their right to be viewed.

Location : Luak Esplenade, Miri.

Date : 12th December 2010.

The photos were taken using Canon 1000D mounted with Canon EF 50mm f/1.8. I hope you guys like it.
